The Rutland Residents Association will host a public forum for Kelowna civic election candidates on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hollywood Road Educational Services (1040 Hollywood Road South).
The format for the forum will be a general assembly where each mayor, council and school board candidate will be set up at a designated area within the gymnasium.
The public will be able to meet each candidate on a personal level, with each candidate set up at their own table to answer questions.
The Rutland Residents Association hopes the forum will help facilitate discussion between the public and the various candidates.
The doors will be open to the public at 6:00 pm as cited above.
They sincerely hope to see all candidates attend.

The Okanagan Mission Residents Association will be hosting an all-candidates meeting for council candidates and mayoral candidates at the Dunnenzies Mission location (4638 Lakeshore Road).
Residents will have the opportunity to walk around and visit tables to speak to candidates.
Please be prepared for all weather, as depending on attendance, some folks may have to set up on the back patio.

Sept 2 | Mail-in Voting
All qualified electors may vote by mail ballot. Electors must complete an application to request a mail ballot package and are responsible for ensuring their ballot is received by the Chief Election Officer by 8 pm on October 15th, 2022. Voters can request a mail ballot package online, by phone or in person starting Friday, September 2 (Thursday, October 13 is the last day to request a mail ballot package)

Oct 15 | Voting Day
General local elections are held every four years on the third Saturday of October. The next general voting day is Saturday, October 15, 2022. Voting places are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (local time) on general voting day.

Me and Tom Macauley got to speak to COSAR and chat with a few of its members after their meeting on Thursday. We got to speak our support for their cause and reiterated our commitment to keeping them taken care of.
